According to Pat, aka Mrs. BOG, the company’s co-founder, Sweet Cindy is a three-way cross between a Sweet Tooth #3 female, BOG Bubble female, and a male Cinderella 99 that came from a pack of Brothers Grimm Seeds. It is available from California seed bank BOG Seeds. Although the seed bank reports that the strain does best in humid, outdoor spaces with lots of sunlight and heat, Sweet Cindy is simple to grow both indoors and outdoors. It primarily has Indica lineage. When grown outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere, flowering takes 48–56 days, and on October 10 it is ready for harvest. According to BOG, Sweet Cindy produces dense, frosty, and incredibly aromatic buds. It has a potent grapefruit flavor and is thought to contain 18–22% THC. The strain is offered by BOG in regular seed form.

Three-way cross of OG Kush, Bubba Kush, and Granddaddy Purple is known as 3X Crazy, also referred to as Insane OG or Optimus Prime. According to reports, this strain has a peppery and grapesy aroma with earthy undertones. B-Real of Cypress Hill fame’s Dr. Greenthumb, a cannabis dispensary in California, gave its rendition of 3X Crazy the name “Insane OG.” According to Pacific Seed Bank, the strain has a flavor profile of herbal, sweet, and peppery with 21% THC and low CBD. The indica-leaning hybrid 3X Crazy performs best when grown by an expert. It blooms indoors or outdoors in seven to nine weeks with an average yield.

A balanced sativa-indica hybrid strain from the Cookies Fam is called Cereal Milk. The top reported flavors are creamy berry and fruity citrus, and the top reported aromas are reminiscent of the fruity milk left over from a bowl of sugary cereal. The Y Life (GSC crossed with Cherry Pie) and Snowman, a sativa-dominant phenotype from the Cookies Fam, were crossed to produce Cereal Milk. Similar to many Cookie phenotypes, the plant maintains a medium height and flowers indoors over the course of 9–10 weeks, harvesting in late October outdoors. The nugs are typically short, fat, and covered in trichomes.

Jack Herer is a popular modern cannabis strain that was named after the late, illustrious cannabis activist and writer of the 1985 novel “The Emperor Wears No Clothes.” According to reports, it has a flavor that combines citrus, pine, wood, and spice. A popular parent strain for new hybrids, this creation from the Dutch seed bank Sensi Seeds won nine first-place High Times Cannabis Cup awards. Although its parentage is unknown, it is generally believed to be a complex cross between Northern Lights #5, Shiva Skunk, and Haze. The strain tends to grow tall, and three of its four phenotypes produce large, rounded, dense buds that flower quickly. The seed bank estimates a 50–70 day flowering period. Its heavy yields may necessitate intermediate growing abilities, and its buds and dark-green leaves are frequently covered in sticky, sugary trichomes. Sensi Seeds provides regular, non-feminized seeds.

A cultivar called Trainwreck has enigmatic origins, most notably regarding the significance of its name. According to legend, Trainwreck got its moniker because the original cut grew on a hill the summer a train wreck occurred in the Humboldt region. According to other sources, the strain got its name from the sudden, runaway-train-like invigoration it gave users’ minds. The Seedsman blog claims that the Northern California region of the Emerald Triangle is where Trainwreck first appeared in the 1980s. It is believed that the original landrace strain Trainwreck was created by crossing Mexican, Thai, and Afghani indica strains. The terpenes terpinolene, myrcene, and limonene, which are all thought to be responsible for Trainwreck’s purported lemon and pine aroma, were found in high concentrations in laboratory tests. Customers can credit Trainwreck’s energy-inducing effects to its limonene content and mild (14%–18%) THC content. The tall-growing Trainwreck is a good choice for inexperienced growers because it behaves well indoors and blooms in 8–10 weeks without much supervision.

A high-CBD hybrid known as Harle-Tsu was first grown in Northern California by breeders at the Southern Humboldt Seed Collective, also known as SoHum Seeds. The strain is a hybrid of a Sour Tsunami clone and a Harlequin male. The strain is high in the terpenes myrcene and humulene and frequently tests at 13–18% total CBD content and less than 1% THC, according to Phylos Bioscience’s 2016 testing. At the 2014 Emerald Cup, the strain took first place for best CBD flower. The event’s organizers tested Harle-Tsu in a lab, and the results showed 21.05% CBD and 0.86% THC. During the vegetative phase, the strain exhibits growth traits resembling those of an indica. Harle-Tsu is a short, stout, and bushy strain that grows a medium-yielding plant with low THC flowers and can be cultivated in a variety of environments. The plant begins low and branchy, grows substantial foliage, and eventually develops branches that reach the sky. The full maturation of the buds occurs when plants are grown outdoors around late September in the Northern Hemisphere or late March in the Southern Hemisphere, while indoor plants take about 56 days to reach their floral peak.

The breeders at Oni Seed Co. created Tropicana Cookies by crossing a Forum Cut version of Girl Scout Cookies with Tangie. According to seed bank Alchimia, it has a strong THC content and emits an earthy, sweet scent and tart fruit flavor with a hint of cream. The 2019 IC 420 Growers Cup’s Sativa division was won by Tropicana Cookies. Both indoors and outdoors, where it flowers in nine weeks or September, Tropicana Cookies is simple to grow. A central cola and sturdy branches are produced by the cultivar, which benefits from Sea of Green (SOG) or Screen of Green (ScrOG). Its numerous buds are big, dense, and resin-coated. In contrast to the other, one phenotype produces purple flowers. Alchimia claims that it has average yields that can be improved by using SOG or ScrOG.

Dr. William Courtney chose the high-CBD strain Cannatonic, also known as the CBD Queen, after receiving a packet of seeds from the strain’s original breeder, Spain-based Resin Seeds. Testing by SC Labs revealed that the resulting ACDC, which is only sold as a clone, has a 20:1 CBD-to-THC ratio and is incredibly high in CBD. According to Resin Seeds, the plant smells like a combination of cherry, diesel, gas, and Mandarin peel. In ACDC, myrcene is the dominant terpene. ACDC is the parent of several hybrids high in CBD. Thunderstruck (an S1 hybrid of ACDC and ACDC), Treasure Island (Swiss Gold and ACDC), HarleSin (ACDC and Harlequin), and Incredible Power (OmRita, BluePower, and ACDC) are four ACDC hybrids that Sin City Seeds offers with different CBD-to-THC ratios. Other notable hybrids include TOCI (ACDC and Xena), EMT (ACDC and Canna-Tsu), Valhalla (ACDC and Sky Dragon), Bodhi Seeds’ CBD Rich Blessing, and others from Love Genetics, Med Tree Seeds, and Bodhi Seeds. CBD Rich Blessing, a cross between ACDC and a CBD-rich Good Medicine male, has in turn been used by its breeder to produce a number of other CBD-rich crosses. The strain reportedly has average height growth, medium yields of large, dewy buds, and thin leaves. The strain thrives in warm, indoor environments. It is said to flower in 63–70 days, though it might take longer in colder climates. Beginner and intermediate growers with limited grow space may want to look elsewhere for a high-CBD plant because ACDC can be finicky. Short, bushy plants with thin leaves that typically reach a height of four feet are typical of the ACDC clone. Moderate levels of genetic variation were found in an ACDC clone named Harborside that Phylos Bioscience submitted for genetic analysis.

Allen Wrench is a sativa-leaning hybrid created by crossing Train Wreck with NYC Diesel, not to be confused with the straightforward L-shaped tool. According to reports, Allen Wrench has a very potent earthy aroma as well as a citrusy, sweet flavor with undertones of wood. These plants, which are said to reach a medium height, produce colossal, light green, trichome-frosted colas. Although Allen Wrench is said to be challenging to grow and needs support and trimming, seasoned growers can anticipate being rewarded with a plentiful harvest. This strain can produce up to 600 grams per square meter indoors and up to 800 grams per plant outdoors after a 70- to 80-day flowering cycle. The strain thrives outside in warm, Mediterranean climates, but Pacific Seed Bank, which sells feminized Allen Wrench seeds, claims that it performs best indoors under strictly controlled conditions.

Sensi Seeds, a cannabis breeder, developed Jack Flash as a cross between these potent genes and the highly sought-after Skunk growing characteristics in an effort to outperform the illustrious Jack Herer. According to Amsterdam Seed Center, the breeder in this instance crossed Sensi’s Super Skunk and Haze with Jack Herer Female to create trichome-rich buds with high THC and low CBD levels. At the Amsterdam High Times Cannabis Cup in 2004, the strain took third place for Best Cannabis. In an eight to nine week flowering cycle, Jack Flash vigorously produces swollen calyxes that are stacked on top of one another and heavily coated in resin. Sensi Seeds claims that Jack Flash grows very well both indoors and outdoors in warm, sunny conditions. Two phenotypes of the strain are said to exist. The indica is sufficiently short and compact to work with the Sea of Green (SOG) cultivation method. The sativa phenotype is preferred by the breeder because it can reach heights of up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) and carries many of the characteristics of Skunk and Haze, such as a potent aroma, an abundance of resin, and a larger overall yield.
