In cooperation with BeLeaf, Fresh Coast Seed Co. developed its White Truffle variety at its Michigan facility. The indica-dominant strain is a phenotype of a backcross between Original Glue (also known as GG4) and Peanut Butter Breath from BeLeaf’s Gorilla Butter.
Fuel, earth, and spices are the three most frequently mentioned aromas of white truffle. Moreover, it is said to have a similar flavor with hints of tart fruit.
These honors have been bestowed upon White Truffle: Best Hybrid Flower, High Times Medical Cup Nevada, US, 2nd Place in 2021.
Gorilla Butter, a cross between Original Glue (also known as GG4) and Peanut Butter Breath, is a backcross. White Truffle is an indica-dominant phenotype of that cross. Probably as a result of its indica ancestry, it grows short plants. The average flowering period for white truffle is 56–63 days indoors and late September–early October outdoors. It thrives both inside and outside.
There are seeds and clones of white truffle available.
