Mother of Berries, or MOB, is a cross between a Blueberry phenotype and Freezland, a backcross of the Quebec-bred Freisland strain. Although the genetics were developed in the United States, they were improved once they reached Dutch breeders T.H. Seeds. It has the same sweet berry flavor profile as Blueberry and, according to High Times, tests with THC levels over 20%. Due to its small and manageable size, the cultivar grows short and stocky, resists mold and pests, and is simple to grow. MOB requires a dry, warm climate and blooms in eight to nine weeks either indoors or outdoors in late September or early October. Large, dense buds with purple undertones, light green and orange pistils, and a thick layer of trichomes grow quickly on this cultivar. Given the small size of the plants, the yields, while not spectacular, are still regarded as excellent. In the Indica division, MOB finished second at the 2015 Expo Grow Cannabis Cup Ireland.
