Jack Herer is a popular modern cannabis strain that was named after the late, illustrious cannabis activist and writer of the 1985 novel “The Emperor Wears No Clothes.” According to reports, it has a flavor that combines citrus, pine, wood, and spice.
A popular parent strain for new hybrids, this creation from the Dutch seed bank Sensi Seeds won nine first-place High Times Cannabis Cup awards.
Although its parentage is unknown, it is generally believed to be a complex cross between Northern Lights #5, Shiva Skunk, and Haze.
The strain tends to grow tall, and three of its four phenotypes produce large, rounded, dense buds that flower quickly.
The seed bank estimates a 50–70 day flowering period. Its heavy yields may necessitate intermediate growing abilities, and its buds and dark-green leaves are frequently covered in sticky, sugary trichomes.
Sensi Seeds provides regular, non-feminized seeds.
