There isn’t much information online about the mysterious-sounding Abracadabra; it seems to have appeared out of thin air or been plucked from a big hat. Online sources attest to Abracadabra’s earthy, citrus flavors and well-balanced mental and physical effects, despite the fact that the strain’s breeder and genetics are unknown. Although there isn’t much information online about growing Abracadabra, it’s said to be best left to seasoned growers.

The Dutch Flowers team developed Blowfish, also called Fugu. The fish that inspired the strain’s name is a Japanese delicacy that, when prepared improperly, is 100 times more lethal and sedative than cyanide. When smoking Blowfish, users describe flavors of sweet and peppered citrus along with a tropical fruit aroma laced with diesel and incense. In order to increase the yield and flavor of the original G13, Dutch Flowers crossed a male cross of Oregon Funk and G13 with a female cross of Blue Dot and G13 to produce the indica-leaning Blowfish. The strain of blowfish requires little care and produces higher-than-average yields with little attention or nutrients. Blowfish matures indoors in about 63 days, while growers outside can anticipate a late-September harvest. Commercial blowfish are offered as seeds.

Mandarin Skunk and Citral Skunk were combined to create Rain Maker, also spelled Rainmaker by Ethos Genetics. Skunk, cheese, and nuts are the most frequently mentioned aromas of the Rain Maker strain. It is said to have a fruity, tart lemon, and pine flavor. A sativa-leaning hybrid with tall plants, long colas, and thin fan leaves is called Rain Maker. Inside, the strain can grow as high as seven feet, while outside, it can grow as high as nine feet. In nine weeks indoors and by mid-October outdoors, Rain Maker blooms. Regular topping or the ScrOG technique can help growers increase yields above 22 ounces per plant. You can buy Rain Maker as seeds or clones.

Elemental Seeds crossed Blackberry with an unidentified member of the OG family, possibly All Spark OG, to produce 5th Element (also known as Fifth Element). Pungent earth, lemon, and pine are the most frequently mentioned aromas of the 5th Element strain. It is said to have a taste of citrus, earth, and cedar. The indica-dominant strain 5th Element creates strong plants with thick stalks that can withstand adverse environmental conditions. The strain grows well both inside and outside, though indoor gardens that are trained using the Sea of Green (SOG) method produce higher yields. In just 49 to 56 days indoors and in mid-October outdoors, 5th Element blooms. The cultivar gives off a yield that is below average under ideal circumstances. Only seeds are available for 5th Element. Clones might be purchased directly from growers of this strain.

Contrary to popular belief, GMO Cookies is not a genetically modified organism but rather the result of the crossing of Chemdawg D and a GSC (formerly Girl Scout Cookies) Forum cut. The breeder Mamiko Seeds is credited with creating GMO Cookies, also known as Garlic Cookies, but another breeder by the name of skunkmasterflex is said to have discovered this skunky phenotype. While Mamiko appears to have called it simply “GMO,” dispensaries chose Garlic Cookies instead because they were understandably hesitant to put that label on their shelves. According to claims, GMO Cookies have a Chemdawg-derived flavor of garlic, mushroom, and onion. Additionally, Divine Genetics offers a strain known as Chem Cookies that is a cross between Chemdawg #4 and GSC. Although it’s important to note that some people do confuse two strains, it appears to be a different strain despite having distinct phenotypes for both parents despite having similar genetics. According to reports, GMO Cookies produces trichome-covered olive green buds with flecks of purple and orange. GMO Cookies don’t seem to have seeds or clones for sale online. The only online grow data for this cultivar claims that it is moderately challenging to grow, but there aren’t many sources that provide additional details.

Cherry Pie by Cookie Family The hybrid of Granddaddy Purple and an F1 Durban Poison, Cherry Pie from San Francisco is an Indica-leaning strain that is only available as clones. Jigga, head of genetics for Cookie Family, began cultivating the strain immediately after it was first created by Pieguy of the Bay Area. The strain develops a large, dense flower that is usually covered in trichomes and entwined with pistils that are rust-colored. In the Medical Sativa division of the 2014 Denver High Times Cannabis Cup, the strain took third place. Cherry Pie by Riot Seeds A cross between the female Cherry Pie clone-only strain and the male WCD 710 (West Coast Dawg/Sugenite OG) is available from Riot Seeds. Cherry Pie, a Sativa-dominant hybrid, creates short, maroon/purple-colored plants. It takes the F1 plant about 9 weeks to flower.

LSD is a Skunk #1 and an Afghani landrace from Amsterdam’s Barney’s Farm cross that has a strong Indica component. The strain’s potent, cerebral, psychoactive high inspired seed bank breeders to name it. LSD is a tough, mold- and disease-resistant plant that thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments, winning third indica at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2008. The strain reportedly offers high yields of potent buds over a 60- to 65-day flowering period, according to the seed bank. Users can anticipate a citrusy chestnut aroma as well as a musky, earthy, floral scent. The Barney’s Farm sells feminized seeds.

A slightly sativa-dominant hybrid with the alternate name CBD Dancehall was created by Reggae Seeds in Spain and named after the jubilant Reggae music genre. Sweet pineapple and diesel with floral undertones are the most frequently reported aromas. Pineapple and diesel are the most popular reported flavors. Dancehall is a cross between Kalijah and Juanita La Lagrimosa, a hybrid of Mexican, Afghani, and Spanish. For home growers, the Dancehall strain is challenging. This strain is only advised for experienced growers because it is very mold-prone and requires careful temperature and moisture control. This strain can yield a sizable amount when grown indoors, with a 56–70 day flowering time. You can buy dancehall seeds online.

There are two different breeders who go by the strain name “Blueberry Headband,” and each of them has a distinct genetic background. Blueberry Headband by Humboldt Seed Organization The Blueberry Headband from the Humboldt Seed Organization is a hybrid of the Blueberry and the 707. Indica-leaning hybrid strain with tall growth and high yields of red and purple-hued buds with fruity, spicy flavors, according to Humboldt Seeds. Flowering takes 65 to 75 days. The breeder asserts that this strain delivers long-lasting cerebral and physical highs. Both indoors and outdoors, Blueberry Headband plants can be grown, but since they can get quite tall—up to 3 meters, or nearly 10 feet—indoors, their height may need to be restricted. In contrast to outdoor cultivation, which can produce 1 to 4 kilograms, or 2.2 to 8.8 pounds, per plant during a mid-October harvest in the Northern Hemisphere, indoor harvests typically produce between 450 and 600 grams per square meter. Emerald Triangle Seeds Blueberry Headband A distinctive hybrid of ’76 Blueberry, Emerald OG, Cali Sour D, and Pre ’98 Bubba Kush, the Blueberry Headband strain is produced by Emerald Triangle Seeds in Northern California. This specific Blueberry Headband cultivar is said to taste like berries, diesel, and pepper when consumed. The strain, according to Emerald Triangle Seeds, grows tall and, in 63 days of flowering, yields a lot of large, elongated, tightly clustered buds. Blueberry Headband is said to grow rapidly during the vegetative cycle and to yield long, beefy colas. Additionally, the breeder claims that Blueberry Headband is mold and mildew resistant.
