A rare, indica-dominant hybrid from an unidentified breeder, most likely in the US, is called Black Cherry Gelato. It’s a hybrid of the Acai cut of gelato and Black Cherry Funk.
Black Cherry Gelato’s most frequently mentioned aromas are cherries, berries, skunk, and fuel. Additionally, skunk, herbs, and sweet cherries are said to flavor it.
Black Cherry Funk and the Acai cut of Gelato were crossed to create Black Cherry Gelato, an indica-dominant hybrid. Due to its mixed genetic makeup, it most likely produces medium-sized plants, but very little is known about how to grow the strain. The average flowering period for black cherry gelato is between 49 and 56 days indoors and by the end of September outdoors. Under ideal circumstances, it is known to produce modest yields, though they are slightly higher outside. Black Cherry Gelato thrives in a warm, muggy, sunny climate both inside and outside.
Both seeds and clones of Black Cherry Gelato are offered.
