In order to recreate the experience of smoking hash in Afghan tea shops in the 1960s and 1970s, breeder Tweed developed Argyle as a variation of the classic Afghan hash strain Nordle. Some claim that it’s simply another name for Nordle, but other sources claim that it’s a phenotype with higher CBD levels.
The earthy, spicy, and pine aromas of the Argyle strain are most frequently reported. According to reports, it tastes like spice, vanilla, and pine.
An Afghan landrace indica and Sensi Star were crossed to create the indica-dominant strain known as Argyle. Argyle’s predominance of indica results in short plants with thick leaves. Argyle is known to yield well under the right circumstances and has an average flowering period of 56 to 63 days. It is best to grow the Argyle strain outdoors.
Neither seeds nor clones of argyle are offered.
