Switzerland’s temperate to cool climates gave rise to a number of landrace strains with a variety of sativa and indica traits. Swiss landraces frequently have earthy, pine-scented aromas with a hint of citrus that reflect the habitat in which they evolved.
Swiss landrace strains are resilient, capable of adjusting to challenging environmental conditions, and resistant to pests and disease. In 8–9 weeks when grown indoors and mid–late October when grown outdoors, plants reach full maturity. Swiss cultivars yield minty or forest green buds with vivid orange pistils and crystalline trichomes at full maturity. Sativa-leaning cultivars favor the outdoors because it allows them to reach their full height. Available only in seed form.
