The highlands and the Kali Ganga river basin are where Nepalese landraces are believed to have originated. In the 1960s, it is said that travelers along the so-called Hippie Trail brought seeds back to the US. Nepalese landraces have fruity, floral bouquets with a hint of spice and berry flavors that go well together.
Depending on where the genetics came from, different Nepalese landrace strains express different growth traits. While some grow to a maximum height of four meters, others mature at shorter heights. Nepalese strains typically flower from mid-October to late November when grown outdoors. Nepalese genetics are resistant to pests and harsher weather because they evolved in colder environments. When fully grown, Nepalese produce long, fluffy buds that are almost completely covered in resin. Available only in seed form.
