The cannabis strain Candyland, also known as Kandyland, is a sativa-dominant cross between the male Granddaddy Purple and the female Bay Platinum Cookies (also referred to as Platinum GSC).
Candyland, a gold medalist at Denver’s 2012 KushCon competition, was named the best Sativa.
Ken Estes of Northern California developed Candyland, a plant that has dense, resin-filled buds and thin, sun leaves with close-spaced internodes. After switching to a 12/12 light cycle, the strain usually completes her flowering cycle within 8 to 9 weeks, whereas outdoor cultivators must wait until early October in the Northern Hemisphere and early April in the Southern Hemisphere before harvesting.
